And beer, I will agree with the rest! This place is legitimately the best in UC for micro brews and delicious food. It has a great atmosphere that is definitely for the older crowd, but it still gets some mature college students from time to time. Be on hipster alert, tee hee, there are a lot of them that stroll into this place! Definitely one the best ! Try it out!

If you are looking for some really good beer, I would go here. The guy who owns this place owns a bunch of places in Phialdelphia. I got a burger ,fries and a beer here the one time that I went and it was AWESOME. This is your typical "pub atmosphere" but it is definitely clean and they take care of it very well. Hipsters iwll serve you but that is oK. AWESOME.

I walked in here and could hardly see it was so dark one night. You walk in and you hit the bar areas first but then you go around the corner for the other stuff. Lots to choose from and lots of wonderful foods to try. Everything is healthy and organic too. I recommend getting a big burger with mushroom toppings and the fries are to die for. Can't beat this place.

Great place to get some beer. They have good stuff. I support this place a lot b coming here and drinking lol. It is so good. They have great food and the atmosphere is to die for. I love their burgers, they let you customize them if you'd like Also good if you want some soup. I love going here during hte summer bc I can walk here! Waiters are nice too!

Local 44 is the place to go in West Philadelphia for some great beer. The atmosphere is cozy and warm and it is a little dark inside. They have great food and the french fries are amazing. The local and international brew choices go well with anything. Come here and make some friends and have a lot of fun. Good!

Great place to go. Definitely support this place after cops raided them, as forchrissake said, turns out that a beer they served was unregistered and that meant tthe PA liquor control board could raid them! It wasn't even their fault! So go here and spend some money and support their cause! Good burgers.

I first came here after finding out that the cops raided this place because they had AWESOME international beers that supposedly were not licensed through the EVIL PA Liquor Control Board. So, even being only 20, I went there and bought some AMAZING food to help this place out.
Great, unique beers. Must go if you're a beer enthusiast/snob. ;)

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and it was awesome. They have a great selection of beers, Franziskaner being my personal favorite. They have a lot of veggie and vegan options as well. Best of all , eagles and Phillies fans... Every single game is on.. and oh yeah , its on..!! I watched the lions / eagles yesterday and Bhooyaaah, its a lucky bar.. !!
