This is one of the cutest coffee shops in University City. Trust me you will love it when you go! Plus the owner is super friendly which is never a bad thing. This is a great place to study or just grab a quiet cup of coffee with a friend.

Best cafe.

This is the best cafe in UC but probably one of the least visited  It is in a horrible location that can only cater to people who probably don't visit cafes.  Seriously they should relocate to down close to eds on lancaster walk.  At least then i'd be there all the time, not sure about others!  They have great lattes.  Like REALLY good.

Good.

If you want to chill somewhere in UC where no one will ever find you, go here.  why?  because it is empty. this place could have picked a better location, IE on lancaster walk which would have brought in more ppl.  instead it is in the middle of no where but oh well.  they have shows sometimes.  right across the st from DP dough, yum.

Good coffee but...

Very good coffee option on/near campus, with Hub Bub no longer around only Capogiro is better. But why so slow?!? Honestly, some of us have to get to class and can't stand around all morning! But either way - I still go back!

Cute, often overlooked.

This place is relatively new, located up a little north of Market and 40th, a shady area. Most places are more south on 40th, so I worry about this place getting business, so please go there! I believe they have music on some nights, too. :) Gotta love those quiet little cafes.

Excellent capuccinos

i love the name of this coffee house. not that it's relevant, but i'm pretty sure that i'm equal parts lover and mad(wo)man. my capuccinos have been excellent and included a pleasant froth design. the space is really attractive. there's rarely a gnarly and/or large crowd. the teas are incredible. they have a giant mirror. they have smartwater. AND the lady baristas are very nice. things to improve on: more plentiful and fresh food options

Living Room Away from Home

This cafe feels just like being back home in your cozy living room, complete with inviting couches and a collection of Dr. Seuss books by the window.  The strong, Italian-style coffee reminded me of the intense blend I frequently order from Capogiro gelateria.  The food is largely made on premises and includes quiche, a not-so-standard coffee shop treat.  I sampled the vegan gingerbread, which is made there.  The flavor was great, but I found the cake itself a bit dry.  However, that is a very minor complaint which should not keep you from venturing over to this spot.  The fruit smoothies are also delicious and made with seasonal produce.  One of these drinks always accompanies a friend of mine during her study sessions at 40th and Ludlow.  This cafe is spacious and has many large windows to let in the sunlight during a long day of studying.  However, this place is also great for an evening with friends or new hallmates.  You can dine and chat in an atmosphere that lends itself to unwinding as well as hitting the books.
