Good Valentine's Day Restaurant

POD manages to be both classy and futuristic at the same time. The conveyor belts delivering food, the soft music, and the colorful lighting make the atmosphere perfect for a date or if you want to just go somewhere nice with your friends. The dress code is casual to dressy, and the meals are a bit pricey, but it is well worth the experience. If you want to know how the Jetson's feel when dining out, I'd recommend trying this place. And the food is well worth the price!
Expensive. Too expensive.

So sometimes POD has specials . . .like all you can eat sushi for $100! I don't know, a lot of rich Upenn kids go here but i typically can't afford it. They also have a bar that can be pretty fun,b ut again, it is a bit too expensive for my tastes. All of my friends prefer going to cheap dive bars, lucky me, or we just stay in to have a good time. Pod is just too much for me.
Great Sushi
Temple Undergrad
I am a big sushi person and this place, when I am not too lazy to go to West Philadelphia, is the place I go to for great sushi. They take their time to make the sushi and make sure it is presentable (unlife the people in the SAC) and the prices are reasonable. They do not charge extra for spicy-mayo, which is always a plus and are very respectful. Great Service, a must try!
Fun classy asian fushion

Question: where have I been to more Wharton club happy hours, recruiting dinners, and professor lunches than I can even count? Answer: Pod. This is THE place for those looking for a bit of a fancier, hipper dining experience in U-City. Steven Starr brings his usual catchy decor and solid menu to Sansom Street. The cocktails are not bad either ;-) All the sushi is good and, if you go for lunch, I recommend their specials with 2-3 courses. Yum!
