Excellent Food and Staff!

The $20 Restaurant Week lunch menu provided enough food to hold me over almost an entire day! The pumpkin soup starter was very hearty. My main dish of cured and smoked mackerel was topped with a sweetly dressed salad to balance the saltiness of the fish. A panna cotta was served for desert with candied pistachios and blueberries. Delicious and rich! I would definitely return to taste their rather inspired specials and experience the inviting atmosphere.
Great for Restaurant Week!

Fork was an awesome pick for Restaurant week, and I'll definitely go back again. The atmosphere is very chill and friendly and I would describe the food as earthy yet refined. The wait staff was attentive but not obnoxious and all were super knowledgeable about the dishes, ingredients, etc. I had the pumpkin soup which was pretty good (and very big portion) and the meat platter which was very rich and delectable. Lemongrass panacotta was the dessert option which was a much needed light and fresh taste after the rich main course. All in all, a great place to try out restaurant week or take a date for nice date.
Casual, Upscale, Interesting, Yummy

These are the first four words that come to mind when I think about Fork. I went for lunch yesterday during restaurant week. I had the Broccoli Rabe & Sausage parpadelle and it was delicious - not too much pasta compared to other ingredients and a big heartly portion. Fork is one of those high quality, laid back restuarants with a great atmorphere that helps give Philly is reputation as a true city for foodies. :-)

I've been to Forks two times already and I can say that I have not been disappointed both times. I first went for their bite sized desserts and some tea/coffee, the dessert was scrumptious and really worth my money. The second time was Easter's Day Brunch. THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD DEAL. It was 35 dollars for practically a 5 course meal and i'm not talking about some lame course but think smoked salmon, halibut, and more. The regular entrees are delicious and they give large servings. Their service is pretty mediocre! i loooved the food there.
