Really great vegetarian options

This place has great vegetarian options, offering high quality vegetable dishes. The cheese they use are really good too. Offering a glimpse into Israeli cuisine, this is a fun place to try.

I happened to go to Zahav during Restaurant Week, so I am not sure of how they are normally, but they really had an excellent sampling of tapas. There were so many different kinds, and everyone I was with enjoyed at least one. The meals were also delicious. My only warning would be that if you are looking for legitimate Israeli food, you wouldn't find it here. They put a twist on all of it and make it amazing. Just be ready for an empty wallet at the end of the night! Zahav is very pricy, and I wouldn't exactly say I would do it if it weren't Restaurant Week.

Went to Zahav for a great dinner with friends on a Saturday night... Great atmosphere, restaurant was packed; great service and food. Recommend Salatim - daily selection of eight salads & hummus to start.

Zahav's take on Israeli food is one of a kind. The food is so tasty and the menu allows the table to order many different small dishes which enables a multitude of flavors. I would absolutely recommend it for a special occasion that justifies the above average cost.

Had my birthday dinner here and it was great. Food was delicious and great atmosphere. Also a good prix fixe for $36.

The food, service, and ambience are superb. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice evening away from Center City.
