There have been so many nights throughout my Temple career that I have ended up at Owls Nest.  Always a large amount of students there, no matter the hour of the day or night.  Nice atmosphere, pretty good food, and the workers are friendly.  It's now owned by new people, so I'm anticipating an improved Owls Nest.  The new phone number is 267-519-9973, for the record.

Maxi's is Better

Every Temple student has found themselves here at some point in their college career. It’s in the perfect location for drunks leaving frat parties on campus. That doesn’t mean the food is good or safe to ingest. The Owl’s Nest seems to be a magnet for restaurant violations. Their delivery is also agonizingly slow. I would recommend taking the walk to Maxi’s instead.

The Owl's Nest is very popular among most Temple students. It is open late at night and offers great food. The staff is usually really friendly and the price is very reasonable. The pizza is pretty good and the atmosphere is fun with lots of loud music and other students coming in to have a meal. It's great for groups on a budget and conveniently right near a lot of the Temple housing. I highly recommend it. I do wish they had a bigger variety of food, but it is fine the way it is.

The Owl's Nest is on Broad on the North side of campus. They're open late and always deliver on time. Also, during the day they offer an all-you-can-eat on any slice and a never ending soda for 6.50$. Its a great place to hang out, they project movies on the wall. If you've got a lot of time to kill, try the Owl's Nest.
