If you have a meal plan or Diamond Dollars or just feel lazy and don't want to leave 1300, this is a rather convenient place to grab something to eat. The options are a fraction of what they have at the SAC (some sides and entrees from the Charleston, some meals from the Chinese place, sushi, salads, cereals, ice creams, beverages) but they also have additional items that aren't available at the SAC (instant/cup noodles, Campbell's soup, Pringles, Oreos, and candy). I especially like their potato wedges.
Even when I lived at 1300 I always seemed to forget that there was a cafe down in the basement. They have a grill and fryer for cheese steaks and fries. Nothing great but it's an option if you don't feel like leaving the building. You have to be a resident or get signed in order to eat here.
