p and k is one of the best places to get some really great beer on tap as well as in bottles.  Everyone can go here and have a great time.  They have great food and beer, so how can you go wrong?  Where most places usually have only one good thing, this place tends to have just about everything, which is pretty awsome.

Great food, and lots of beers, and a good date place.

As a long time fan of "Old Speckled Hen" beer, I will always love Pub & Kitchen for being the only place in the many cities I have lived in to have this delicacy on tap.  P&K blends well a trendy dining pub with enough TV's tucked away to keep the score of the game available.  Welcoming of shorts and t-shirts or suits and ties, everyone is comfortable and will enjoy great food (especially the burger and fries.)  Getting a table is never really an issue unless you have a bigger group on a Friday or Saturday, and the upstairs is available for private parties.  Definitely worth checking out, and might I also recommend the Banana Chocolate Pudding for dessert.

So it took me a few months to discover this place but it is one of my favorite places in Philly. The brews are delicious (where else can you get Olde Speckled Hen on tap) and the burger is one of the city’s best. I enjoy the young, alternative staff and the food is simple yet delicious. The only issues can be a) the wait (no reservations, you have to wait until your entire party is present) and b) the back room can be a bit load. Not a great place for any bigger happy hours b/c of the narrow bar area.
