One of the few "new" buildings in philly.  All units are one bedroom and are somewhat small but layout is great and perfect for one person.  Kitchen is great with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.  Real hardwood floors and exposed brick on outer wals.  Washer/dryer in units.  Large walk in closets (although other closet space is limited).  Location right on Walnut is great (close to restaurants and bars) but a bit further from Wharton (although it means you can get a seat on the bus).  There is some street noise but its doable.  There is no doorman but never had a problem with receiving packages (can be sent to management office if need to be signed for with is 1 block away).  There also is no gym in the building but Bally is across the street and the Bellevue is a block away.  The cost is also more reasonable given no doorman/gym.

Building fully renovated in 2010. Great character, finishings and appliances. Very tall ceilings. Property Management is well organized and responsive. Street noise from Walnut is fine so long as the garbage trucks aren't around (come daily around 5am and 8am). Noise heard between units is pretty much limited to people walking or furniture moving above. Very little natural light in unit facing Syndenham since there's a taller building directly across.
