I rented a 1-bedroom (~850sq ft) place from an individual condo owner who is a Wharton MBA alum. The apartments in this building vary in condition from unit to unit because they are individually owned but most of them are great. My unit happens to be one of the "smart home" units, which have hardwood floors throughout the apartment, a Sonos sound system to stream music through speakers in the ceilings (living, bedroom and bathroom), thermostat and lighting that can be controlled remotely, etc. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and it's a large open concept kitchen so it's a pleasure to use. The doormen as absolutely amazing and go out of their way to help in case of any issues. I can't speak highly enough of them. As for the location, I think it's wonderful. Some may say that it's further from Rittenhouse but it is only 3.5 blocks away and I personally prefer this location more because it's closer to places such as Reading Terminal Market, where I often go for my groceries. Plus, you can actually get a seat on the bus when you get on at 15th and Walnut (1.5 blocks away). The trolley station is also nearby but I've never used it since I ride my bike for the most part. You can't go wrong with this building but be prepared to pay a premium!

Rented a one-bedroom unit from an individual condo owner.  The apartments are spacioius with upgraded kitchens.  Doormen are exceptionally helpful with pretty much anything.  Location is good for trolley access at 15th and Market or bus access at 15th and Walnut.  A little far from some popular spots, but new restaurants and bars opening on 15th and Sansom this year.  Always easy to share a cab home with people at 1500 Locust.

The Good...Brand new spacious apartments. Excellent appliances...Very new building with very modern in-apartment amenities (marble counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, etc.)...Overall, doormen are friendly...Excellent staff. Responsive management. Newly renovated elevators are f-a-s-t. Fast dry cleaning deliveredThe Not So Good...Depending on the person, the location (15th and Sansom) leaves something to be desired. Relative to 1500 Locust, it's closer to the trolley, but there are A LOT less Wharton people in the building...The building management seems to haveundergone a change, and the initial impressions are not good... Currently, no in-house gym
