Fantastic 3-floor apartment

I am an MBA at Wharton graduating in May 2011 and have absolutely loved living here! The building is a quiet, 4-unit Victorian brownstone with central air/heating. The landlord lives in a large 3-story apartment in this 4-unit building and is also my roommate (she is an entrepreneur in her mid-20's and awesome). This means that not only do I get a much-needed non-business school outlet, but also that if there are issues with the apartment, in our apartment or in the building, she is available to quickly rectify the situation or issue.  Being in an old buildling, the apartment itself also has a lot of character and detail, but has been modernized so that it's not full of problems. The apartment itself came furnished (since she lives here!) with non-IKEA furniture, and there is a ridiculously large, beautiful, and modern equipped kitchen on the basement floor, along with a laundry room and a huge storage room.  There is also a small private patio with a new grill. The ground floor is the living room and the landlord's master bedroom.  The best part is that the top floor (2nd floor in terms of street level) consists of only my bedroom.  It a is huge bedroom (bigger than my entire 2-bedroom NYC apartment before school!), with two giant windows that let in natural light, a private bathroom with separate tub and shower and lots of counter space, two walk-in closets.  If the next tenant wants it furnished, that can be arranged too. I only wish I could take this apartment with me.  The landlord is a great roommate who takes weekend trips once a month or more, and loves to clean.  She is also just a great person in general and we have become friends while living together. She can also answer questions about the other apartments in the building that may become available as well.  Bottom line - everyone who visits the apartment is genuinely impressed at what a nice place it is and, maybe they are just being polite, but many say it's one of the nicest apartments of Penn grad students. Which is great, since I get to live here!
