Great location. The studio apartments aren't huge, but are a decent size with a kitchen separate from the bedroom. The price is good compared to other surrounding buildings. It is in close proximity to the square, good restaurants and the bus. The doormen are very nice and the building is very safe. The only drawback is that the street is kind of loud at night with the trucks and buses. Other than that, I have no complaints.
I live in one big one bedroom in the 12 th floor.

I live in one big one bedroom in the 12 th floor. Pros:- Location is great. - Lots of light through all the apt, full of windows.- Utilites, water included in the rent.- Great maintenance- Great doormans, friendly- AC/Heaters working great- Not many people of Wharton know it. Good value for money in my opinon Cons:- Sometimes noisy if you face 19th and Sansom.- Not modern kitchen/bathroom- If your apt does not have a carpet, you are oblied to put one.- no washing machine/dryer on the apt- No gym

The Good...Building is in very good shape, public areas are in very good shape, maintenance is responsive, management is efficient...It’s beautiful- the lobby, the moldings, the doors...The building is located right on the corner of 19th and Walnut St. - a prime spot in Center City. This is adjacent to the bus stop and all shopping in downtown. Moreover, this is the closest you will get to Rittenhouse Square without paying an arm and leg for it. The Not So Good...The one bedroom apartment is medium in size, no washer/dryer in apt...Lack of amenities: no gym or conference room...If you don't have carpet when you move in, you're responsible for getting it carpeted (including paying for it). And youpretty much have to get it carpeted. The noise of Walnut can carry up if you're facing the street, and Mansion is openuntil 3am on weekends, so you can hear that crowd. The building manager requires a little warming up to. Not a lot ofcounter space in the kitchen.

The Good... Building is in very good shape, public areas are in very good shape, maintenance is responsive, management is efficient... It's quiet. Most of the folks who live here are working professionals, families, or retirees... There are not many Wharton students in the building (which means it doesn't feel like a dorm)... the doormen are very friendly. Also very responsive to maintenance requests... The building is located right on the corner of 19th and Walnut St. - a prime spot in Center City. This is adjacent to the bus stop and all shopping in downtown. Moreover, this is the closest you will get to Rittenhouse Square without paying an arm and leg for it... Pretty flexible about things like subletting or getting out of lease early... Quaint building with modern utilities, well-maintained. The building owner lives in the building and is very hands-on. The apartment layout is very is a very open space, unlike some other brownstones, which can be claustrophobic... The Not So Good... The one bedroom apartment is medium in size, no washer/dryer in apt... Lack of amenities: gym... If you don't have carpet when you move in, you're responsible for getting it carpeted (including paying for it). And you pretty much have to get it carpeted... Not a lot of counter space in the kitchen... 3 long flights of stairs.
