This house is not exactly a steal at $675 per month. You could find a better deal outside of the immediate Temple area. You are mostly paying for its location one block behind the track. The house has three larger rooms and three other rooms that are about half the size. There are also two front rooms that would make for tight offices, let alone bedrooms. You might consider having roommates that get stuck in these rooms paying less in rent. Tenants are offered two kitchens and three bathrooms instead of extra common areas as it was designed as a duplex. The extra large basement does make up for what is lacking upstairs. The ceilings are high enough to not have to worry about hitting your head during a party. There is also a patio out back with the back door located in the first floor big bedroom. The biggest drawback is the landlord who can be a bit shady at times. He didn’t exactly take care of our concerns in a timely manner.
