Best Dorm on Campus

1300 is the best residence hall on campus, hands down. Honors program students are able to secure guaranteed housing in 1300. The 3rd floor is designated for honors students and includes a multipurpose classroom--very convenient to roll out of bed in pajamas and walk down the hall to class. There are also washer/dryers on each floor, study areas with conference rooms, computer areas, and gaming areas with pool table/foosball table.

This dorm is a nice one. It is usually where the Honors students, freshman and people involved in sports stay. It tends to be pretty quite though. If you are a party person live in Johnson and Hardwick or even 1940 which is where I stayed freshman year. It was really fun.

I lived in 1300 for two years .. in a suite the first year & in an apartment the 2nd year.  It is VERY expensive, but if you get student loans you don't really notice.  I liked the food court downstairs.  The gym was almost never open, but the study lounge was usually quiet.  Nice space in the rooms, pretty clean.

This housing for Temple University is very nice. They have four elevators which is very convenient. There is a dining hall which you can actually take food out of. Very nice place to live in. Also, it is close to everything you need including the supermarket, subway station, movie theatre, and a variety of food locations.

First Choice for Freshman Year Living

1300 was my first home away from home. It provided everything you would want in a freshman year dorm. There were plenty of common areas to meet people whether it was the movie room, kitchen or café convenience store downstairs. The RA’s and Alliance guards were usually friendly and understanding aside from a few. Each suite consists of a shared bathroom and shower, two shared bedrooms that are slightly bigger than most other dorms on campus and a small common area large enough to fit one small refrigerator. I have very few complaints about the actual living situations at 1300. Your experience may vary with what roommates you draw.
