The Dorm
Temple Undergrad
this place is pretty close, however very expensive. It is not really worth it to me. It is close to 500 but you have to share a room with someone, which is the cheapest amount. U are better off getting an apt close to campus. The place is pretty nice too.

Living in UV was pretty much what I needed after spending my freshman year in the dorms at Temple. It wasn't the "free for all" that an apartment can be, with the renting of single rooms rather than an entire apartment with a group of people. However, the act of signing guests in and out made the entire stay their seem more dorm-like. Finally, it seemed as, at least when I stayed their, they were constantly doing maintenance everywhere in the building.

There are definitely positives and negatives to living in UV. It’s ridiculously expensive. For the price, you could be renting a fairly nice apartment somewhere downtown. However, its location to Temple’s campus is key. Plus, it has 24/7 security, which is definitely comforting and great for holiday breaks when you can’t be around yourself 24/7 to watch your stuff. The gym and pool room are nice too.
Lawd!

UV looks like a blasted hotel building. The rooms are mad poppin though. I always loved the size of the rooms, but the building itself reminds me of a motel.
There Is Always A Catch

I currently live in UV and I think that it is an alright living space, but not the ideal one. I like the fact that I have my own bedroom and private bathroom, but the walls are fairly thin and I can hear my roomates every move. It can sometimes, get annoying, but other than that it is okay. I do like the fact that UV has a computer lab, gym and laundry room. It makes living much easier.

This might be where you end up if you can't stay on campus anymore but you don't want to rent a house. It is expensive and some of the rooms can be tight but it offers a nice alternative to Temple's accommodations while still being within blocks of your classes. Take a tour of the buildings before you sign yourself up for a room here.
