Information Collection and Usage by CHATTERSOURCE
CHATTERSOURCE collects User submitted information through the CHATTERSOURCE Services such as email address, username and password for registration and authentication. NO email addresses or other information that will uniquely identify individual Users will be shared with any third parties.

User information including pictures and usernames are displayed to other CHATTERSOURCE Users in order to facilitate interaction within the CHATTERSOURCE community. Pictures and usernames are used only as avatars and aliases and can be changed at any time; a user is not required to use an actual photograph of him or herself or to disclose a full name. Likewise, the email address or phone number of a User is never shared or displayed to people inside or outside of the CHATTERSOURCE community unless the User so chooses. Email addresses are used to send notifications related to the Services, to allow Users to invite friends to join CHATTERSOURCE or their personal networks, or to qualify Users for certain deals and promotions.
From time to time, CHATTERSOURCE or a partner, may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake or contest on CHATTERSOURCE, and Users may be asked to provide personal information including name, email address, phone number or home address or to answer questions in order to participate. We may also transfer personal information to certain ad partners from whom the User has explicitly requested to receive information. It will be clear at the point of collection who is collecting the personal information and whose privacy statement will apply.
Invitations and Communications to Others
CHATTERSOURCE Users can choose to invite friends to join the service or by sending invitation emails or text messages via our system. CHATTERSOURCE stores the email addresses that Users provide so that the respondents may be added to the personal network of the User sending the invitations. CHATTERSOURCE does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations and invitation reminders. Recipients of invitations from CHATTERSOURCE may contact CHATTERSOURCE to request the removal of their information from our database.
Use of Cookies
The Website uses cookies to store User preferences and to record session information. We do not share with third parties any personally identifiable information the User has submitted while on our site and stored in cookies. The user may be able to configure the browser to accept or reject all or some cookies, or to be notified when a cookie is set. However, the User must enable cookies from the Website in order to use some functions on the site.
Links to The Website CHATTERSOURCE may contain links to other websites. CHATTERSOURCE is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices on other sites. When linking to another site a User should read the privacy policy stated on that site. Our privacy policy only governs information collected on the CHATTERSOURCE Services.
Facebook Connect
For the convenience of our Users, CHATTERSOURCE allows Users to log in to the Services and to invite friends to join CHATTERSOURCE or their personal networks using their Facebook credentials through Facebook Connect. If a User desires to take advantage of Facebook Connect, he or she should consult and comply with its terms of service and privacy policy.
Third Party Advertising
Ads appearing on CHATTERSOURCE may be delivered to Users by CHATTERSOURCE or one of our web advertising partners. Our web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. CHATTERSOURCE does not assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, product, and content of all these and any other third parties. CHATTERSOURCE User accounts are secured by User-created passwords. CHATTERSOURCE takes precautions to insure that the account information is kept private. We use reasonable measures to protect the information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to account information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the security of User account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of User information at any time.
Sharing and Disclosure of Information Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, CHATTERSOURCE will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary: (1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by CHATTERSOURCE, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the CHATTERSOURCE Terms of Use Agreement or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of members of the public and Users of the service. CHATTERSOURCE reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of CHATTERSOURCE or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.
