How much should I budget for off campus housing?

Of course off campus is expensive because people know that you are college students and need a place to stay. But if you want a decent place near campus, I would say $700-$800 per month. I live near Temple and rent is usually $500-$600 if you want your own room. Then there is utilities, cable, internet, and food that you need to buy. You can cut down the price budget in half if you find a roommate to share room with you.
