Chinatown is very busy with shops, shops and more shops.  However, there are some apartments located above these shops or in little alleys around there.  If you go around Chinatown, you can find some apartment buildings with nearby warehouses with Chinese writing on them, so you can always live within a close walk.  There are also, within a few blocks walk, many old and new apartments.

Chinatown is alwayyyss busy. But the food there are great and always something going on. I wouldn't suggest living there because cars are constantly going through that way and I am sure there will be beeping and horns going off all the time. But to go there and eat and kinda shop and experience the chinese culture is fun and nice. Chinatown is also a great place for bubble tea run =)
