What is First Friday?

Galleries, boutiques and shops in Old City all open their doors to the public on the first Friday of every month.  It's a great way to take in lots of local art and street performances while enjoying free wine and cheese.  First Friday usually tapers off in the winter months but comes back full force in the spring.
