What is most important to look for in off campus housing?

It’s most important to find a good, safe area where the price fits your price range.  You should also look for a place where you feel comfortable bringing your friends and family.  Price and location are always the most important factors for me, as well as the amenities (like a washer and dryer) that could be provided by your landlord.
