If you are interested in getting hands-on experience in working in the Emergency Room, I would recommend applying to Cooper's spring Academic Associate Program. In this program, you will assist a doctor with research by giving surveys and asking questions to specific patients in the Emergency Ward. You will get to interact with doctors and nurses, watch operations conducted in the Emergency Ward, and gain experience in the medical field. This is a great opportunity for pre-med students who want research experience.
