Beautiful music.

Some of the best musicians in PHiladelphia play in the Philadelphia orchestra, making it a wonderful experience that is worth every cent. They play everything from modern to classical music, depending on what event you decide to attend. It is really rivetting and beautiful to go to an orchestra.
Magnifico!

What a beautiful place! The philadelphia orchestra plays here and it is one of the most relaxing things to do in the city. You can get dressed up or just be yourself and go out to see an amazing orchestra perform. It really is beautiful! I enjoy it very much and I've had a pretty good time here listening and chillin'. Great.

Want to listen to great tunes and affordably? And I'm not talking about dance music! the Orchestra! How cool is that! All for college student prices! Really you cannot find any other quality entertainment in the city. It all is here and it is all super awesome. Ask your college for a discount, bet they have one!

They give great discounts for students, and this may be just what you need other than listening to rap and techno all the damn time as a student. It is fun to go here with friends, get dressed up and all that jazz. Check out their themed shows, very good!
A must hear!
Temple Alum
One of the finest orchestras in the world! You must hear them at least once if you live in Philadelphia. They play a one of the best venues in the city as well - the Kimmel Center! Take advantage of their student discount or go for free during College Day.

What is not to enjoy? As a gift I was given free tickets to sit in the front row of one of their evening performances. Acustically, it may have not been the best place to receive all of the sounds, but being able to see the performers and their facial expressions close up, to see them play, and not just hear was extraordinary, and made me want to start playing violin. At least while I daydream.
Best Gem in Town

One of the “Top Five” orchestras in the U.S., the Philadelphia Orchestra is world-renowned. Has stellar history of live performances and great recordings. Newly appointed Artistic Director has true talent and can inspire the ensemble to reach new levels of music-making. In addition, 90% of the time, the soloists they invite are the very best in the world. The artistic standard has always been maintained despite the slump in the local economy. Best value: only $25 for student membership, and it is free to attend most nights’ performances for the whole year. The concert hall (Verizon Hall) is very pretty and modern, but the acoustics are so-so at best. So try to sit as close to the stage as possible.
