Wonderful place for yoga of more challenging proportions.  I get sick of the easy relaxing stuff sometimes and I go here for some affordable classes that will truly kick your butt into shape.  The yogis are friendly but still very devoted to their practice.  They will make sure you get the workout that you paid for, that is for sure!

I took several weeks of classes at Dhyana and greatly enjoyed them! They were challenging but structured where everyone, regardless of abilities, can keep up and feel comfortable. I wish they would bring back their morning classes ( they used to have ones at 7:30AM) and the room got a little hot in the summer (but you sweat more!). Overall, great instructors, challenging classes and lots of fun!

I've tried a few yoga studios in the city and for those looking for normal temperature and varied yoga classes, this is a great studio. Every instructor has a different style, so it's important to try different instructors. There are 3 studios in Philadelphia, each with a ton of different classes each day, so there are lots of options. And first-time students get 2 weeks of unlimited classes for $30.

I'm a Yoga beginner and this place was recommend to me by a friend who is a Yoga teacher in New York.  When she comes to Philly she practices here.  Most classes have about 15 people, although it can get crowded if you go during busy times (5:30pm on a weekday, Saturday mornings).  The Vinyasa 101 practices are a perfect combination of athleticism and spiritual/breathing work.  Don't have a favorite teacher as they all seem well trained and highly competent.
