I went here for the first time yesterday after searching for a good massage place on Chattersource. I was not dissappointed! I got the 30 minute hot spot massage on my neck, back and shoulders. Andrew, the masseuse, was great, and thorough, and very nice. It's a very calming atmosphere when you walk in and they serve you water and cookies and give you nice robe to change into. One tip - there's no sign outside the building that I could see, you just have to walk in to the Medical Tower at 255 17th street and head to the 2nd floor.

Love this place. Beautiful decor, great service, all the services you can need or want, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend it - best spa I've visited in Philadelphia.

My wife bought me a massage there for Christmas. While the massage was ok, and besides the fact that they charge a premium, I find that having to wait in the hallway in your robe while everybody walks by is a little uncomfortable. They just make you wait outside the changing room where everyone is. I actually walked in to my marketing professor (male) who was going for a manicure.... awkward...

Rescue is awesome and serene and even though it's pretty fancy inside, it's not that expensive. From October to December this year, they had at least 10 special packages for $50 to $100. I recommend Tyrzah for waxing. She's sweet and thorough. It's bad news for stray hair when she puts those gloves on.
