If you want to check out an Urban farm, go to Greens Grow.  They have their own beer, too, what's not to love!  They have a very dedicated staff that will give you a tour, show you the bee houses, how they irrigate the farm and other fun things that only insiders know.  You can get some awesome flowers for your dorm, too, here.  It is really awesome to find something like this in the city.

If you want to learn about urban farming, yeah, go here, it is freakin' awesome.  They have all diffferent varities of stuff.  It is all built above ground so there are mounds up in bulilt in rectangular shaped objects that hold the dirt.  there is a lot here to look at it and it is well worth the travel to ne philladelphia.  go!

Excellent for urban farming.

If you are looking to learn about urban farming I recommend checking this place out  They ahve everything form fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers.  They even keep their own bees on site.  IT is amazing what they can do all on a concrete slab in the ground!  You've got to check this place out it is truly a wonder.  Located in Kensington I believe.

Good place to visit.

I went here with one of my classes and it was a lot of fun, except that I got stung by a bee.  An interesting place to drive, not the best, but you know.  Well worth it.  I also heard that they grow the own hops to a beer that is super good, but only found in limited quanities.  How cool is that?  Worth checking out in the warmer weather months.

I went here on a tour and everyone was really friendly and awesome.  I got to see bees, too!  I think I got stung, but that is besides the point.  They have tons of plants and fun things, not much produce though.  Definitely check this place out!
