Ok, here's something interesting -- ever go to the art museum after a huge snow storm!  You can literally sled down the stairs, it is pretty awesome.  Not sure how this works out because stairs shouldn't be straight down like that, but it works!  It is a lot of fun and everyone should grab SOMETHING and try sleddding!  Fun times.

Great place to spend a day...

If you are looking for a place to spend a day on the weekend, I highly recommend the art museum, it is really a great treat!  You can go the first sunday of the month, as in when most people go, and pay whatever you want for admission.  I love it!  There is so much to see, and it is really a huge museum, go there plz!

Lots of art art and more art.  As well as authentic items from all around the world.  I could spend all day in here, and I do, trust me, because I love it so much!  It is a great place to go to get some artistic angst out and just have fun all day wandering it so!  I really enjoy it and i want to go back here sometime soon!

This place legitimately has so much art it is ridiculous.  While I prefer the museums in NYC or in DC, this one is OK.  It has a lot to look at.  I don't like the special exhibits and how they cost way more though, seriously as a student we can't afford to throw around 30 dollars whenever a new exhibit comes.  So yeah, it keeps me from looking sometimes.

Good stuff.

If you come here on the first sunday of every month you can get in for just a "donation" of you choice. Which can be anything so I would go for it if I were you! This place is genuinely huge and you will get lost wlaking around. They ahve great gifts here if you're looking for something to buy someone, too. Good stuff.

HUGE and beautiful!

How often have I gotten lost in here?  It is so big.  Warning, you need to pay extra to get into special exhibits, i believe even on "free days" so be careful!  Great stuff though that iwll leave you happy and excited!  Lots of great ancient stuff and new modern stuff as well  Check your school for stuff.

Love this place.

If you are looking to spend a day roaming the artsy rooms of the art museum, i recommend going her eon Sunday when you cna get in for free.  I mean the first sunday of the month.  Oh yeah and it is a requested donation.  Seriously!  Can there just be a time that I can just go here and it be free?  Art should be free!  The money isn't evn going to the artists.  Oh well great place.

This place has everything you can expect from an art museum and a good one.  This is one of the best things that philadelphia has to offer.  the place is huge and it is really fun to look around.  i tend to get lost there every time.  I still don't think it is as big as nyc or washington dc, but it is still pretty huge.  Go on the first sunday of the month for "free' entry.

Estounding!

This is one of my favorite places to visit in the city.  Whenever I am bored on a weekend I walk over here, which is pretty cool.  I like all the exhibits, especially the American paintings.  This is also a good place to get your work out because you can walk around it and run up the stairs and on the paths around it.  Lots of fun here!

Wonderful!

This place is huge and you are guaranteed to get lost.  I believe that the first Sunday of every month has free entry which is awesome.  I see that here is a $10 entree fee with student ID and I did not know about that.  Thank you Chattersource!  A quick walk from Drexel!
