I've been going to Deluxe for a year and a half, ever since my sister recommended it to me. The salon is super friendly and relaxed and the stylists are top quality. They used to work together at a big salon in University City but then a few of them broke off to start their own salon at this Center City location. I like to experiment a lot with my hair and Kyra is always up for it and does an amazing job - she really cares about her work and spend as much time as necessary to make a cut look good. Also great for coloring. Prices are totally reasonable at $40-$45 a cut, plus special discounts for first-timers and students. You should check it out!

If you are used to getting a high quality haircut, it isn't easy to find in Philly. Deluxe is about as good as it will get. A cut is $45 for guys, and the cut is good.

I got my hair cut by the owner and really liked it. Then I agreed to be her hair model and let her cut additional layers. I liked it a lot less after that. I also got color but it didn't really show up on me, so not sure this is their specialty.

Read the great reviews on Yelp & decided to give it a try. Went with a simple bang trim first just to be safe ... process felt rushed (yes even for a trim!) and I was not happy with the results. Not going back for a full haircut.

I go to Deluxe to get my hair cut because they always do a really good job. They are the one barber in center city who has somehow managed to not mess up my hair. That said, their prices are quite high: $45 for a men's haircut is just really expensive. NOTE: They give a $5 discount for paying cash instead of with credit cards.
I tried Deluxe because I got a $10 discount and have been going back ever since. I usually don't get much done other than a trim and like that the prices are reasonable. I usually ask for Kyra- she is super chill and relaxed about the process. I hate when salons try and push products and services on you so I was so happy when they didn't.
