I picked a few items for firsthand experience to review for my son. Something for spring/summer and another item for the fall/winter season. Here are our thoughts and opinions on what Petite Revery offers as far as their toddler pieces.
Reversible Coat – Summer Clouds
Our first pick was a reversible summer coat option in size 2-3T. One side has cute summer clouds, while the other is completely neutral, with a pop of color from the three front buttons. I am a huge fan of the thoughtful design of this coat and the sizing; it fits my son but does run a tad big, leaving lots of room for layers and hopefully, we can get two seasons out of it!
The material is exceptionally soft and lightweight. You could layer it for chillier nights or use it as the perfect base cost on a summer night. The French terry material feels sturdy without being structured. With it being a reversible item, I was worried about the tags, but there are none! We have a reversible puffer coat from Patagonia, and the tags are hideous and brutal to remove. This summer clouds coat will be a staple this year.
Reversible Corduroy Puffer Vest
As I mentioned, I am a sucker for anything reversible, especially when it comes to kids’ clothing! I was so excited to check out this versatile piece. I chose Mineral Blue with beige sandy clouds on the other side. It also comes in Cocoa with the same cloud design on the other side. This puffy vest is extremely high-quality and will fit my son for two seasons. My son is two, and I chose the 2T-3T, and it runs very big, but it isn’t a bad thing for a vest!
I am eager to see how it holds up after a few washes and see which side he prefers to wear. I might have to snag the matching Corduroy Bucket Hat this fall, but I know this will be a go-to piece once the weather gets a little cooler.
