Hello, streamers! March is here, and a lot of great new content will be popping up on Netflix throughout the month. New seasons of some series favorites, notable documentaries and several Academy Award-winning movies from Hollywood are all on tap.
Before we jump into the full list, here are a few highlights to look forward to.
Spencer Confidential (Netflix Original Movie) – March 6
Lookout actions fans, Netflix seems to be in the hunt to create another franchise in the spirit of Six Underground.
Soon Mark Wahlberg will bust onto the scene as an ex-con who gets caught up in Boston’s criminal underworld when he returns home. Rumor has it he’s already expressed interest in doing more with the character…
Ugly Delicious (Season 2) – March 6
If you’re a foodie, you’ve probably been salivating for more episodes of Chef David Chang’s delicious blend of food and culture. As usual, you’ll be in for a treat!

Self Made (Netflix Limited Series) – March 20
Octavia Spencer stars in this biopic about Madam C.J. Walker, an African American businesswoman who made millions by building an empire in the haircare industry.
Supporting roles in this notable drama include Blair Underwood, Carmen Ejogo, Tiffany Hadish, Keeya King and Garrett Morris.
Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution – March 25
Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground just won an Oscar for their documentary American Factory. Their latest effort already premiered at Sundance to rave reviews. This gripping documentary takes a look into a disability camp in the Catskills that sparked a revolution.
Ozark (Season 3) – March 27
For two seasons we’ve been hooked on this tail of an all American family laundering money for the cartel. With beautiful production standards and a brilliant cast, it’s hard to take your eyes off this train wreck of a family unit.
Jason Bateman will continue in his triple role as an actor, director and producer. And word on the street is that the show could run for at least 5 seasons.
So just how much darker will Ozark get? No spoilers here, you’ll have to tune and see!
Hollywood Hits
Along with its original content, Netflix will be offering up some big-name Hollywood movies. And, of course, there’s a little something for everyone.
Notable dramas included on the list are Goodfellas, There Will Be Blood, The Shawshank Redemption and Silver Linings Playbook.
More of a romance fan? Keep an eye out for Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Always a Bridesmaid, Valentine’s Day and He’s Just Not That Into You.
And for fans of oldies but goodies, there’s Tootsie and Hook.
